Clermont Public Library sends out community survey

The Clermont Library is asking for the community’s help by filling out a simple survey.  The Library is working towards becoming an accredited Library and this will help us be one step closer in reaching that goal.  The State Library requires each Library to fill out an application form when they apply for accreditation.  Some of the questions asked on the form are required measures such as a community survey.  The State Library determines each Library’s funding according to the required measures they meet.  The libraries that achieve accreditation receive the most state funding.

The community survey will be included with the city water bill and is a bright yellow one- page survey.  There are 10 boxes in the community in which the surveys can be deposited.  They include: Valley Flower & Gifts, Clermont Post Office, Kerndt Brothers Savings, TJ’s, Clermont Implement, Valley C Store, Northeast Iowa Coop, Quarry Lodge, Clermont Public Library, and Clermont City Office.  The children that participated in “Catch the Reading Bug!” summer reading program decorated the survey boxes and autographed them.   Please take a few minutes to fill out & return this confidential survey.   A longer survey is at the Library for anyone that may want to fill one out.
