Wow!  What a nice web site.  I enjoy looking in virtually, on what is
happening in Clermont.  My ancestors lived in Clermont during the 19th
Century and one was a founder (John Shannon Thompson - I descend from Irene
Appelman).  I am so glad to be able to see the town that was so important to
my family long ago.  My branch of the family is in Southern California now
(Since 1915 on an on-going basis but R.B. Appelman and CT family members
were in Sacramento, CA during the Gold Rush in 1850).  So, I'll close with a
