Clermont for
the 21st Century

|
|
Last September 2005, the City of Clermont
applied for a $350,000 Community Attractions
and Tourism Grant to help with financing three
projects – renovation of the Opera House, the
River Park, and a streetscape project to
improve the business district. In April,
Clermont was awarded a CAT Grant of $225,000 –
more than half of the requested amount and
almost 35% of the total project cost of
$650,000. Typical CAT Grant awards are 20% of
the project so the award given to Clermont is
one of the highest CAT awards ever given!
