Williams Quarry east of Clermont, IA. It was a gift from Mrs.
Frances Vinton of Providence, Rhode Island, who also built churches of
the same name in San Gabriel, CA and Providence, RI. in memory
of her children. She believed Clermont to be the geographical center
of the United States and chose the site in keeping with the biblical
verse "Thy Praise Shall Ring From Shore to Shore."
