1891-1923 The first Clermont Valley Creamery was built in 1891
1923-1958 The second creamery was built next to Turkey River,
which is located on Water Street
1956-1958 The Clermont Valley Creamery merged with Elgin to form
Elgin-Clermont Cooperative Dairy. Elgin for butter making and
milk was delivered to Clermont for drying.
