BACK READS: The Opera House was built in 1912. Seating
capacity was 500 including the balcony. The building has a stage and
a curtain with scenery painted on it. Plays were sellouts, dances were
held 3 times a month and movies were shown 3 times a week until 1945.
Then it became the Ford Garage until 1966. Town of Clermont purchased
it and reverted back to the Opera House as it stands toda
